Embossed Thanksgiving Card

Here is another card I made today. I am trying to get a jump start on the holidays so Halloween and Thanksgiving have been on my mind as well as Christmas and the New Year.

I picked up multiple colors of heat embossing powder at Michael’s a while back and today I got the opportunity to use the copper color.  Wow, I really like how this turned out after I did the embossing.  I had no idea it would be this pretty, I expected a much duller color than I got.   I don’t use brads a lot in my cards, (mostly because I forget I have them) but I thought they might add something to this card.
My husband likes me to add white (or another lighter color) to the inside when I make cards using darker cardstock. He does not want people to have a hard time writing their message inside their cards.  So, since I was doing the inside, I thought I might as well add a little decoration as well.

The stamp set is from Stampin’ UP and is called “Day of Gratitude”. If you are interested in purchasing  this stamp set, you can do so by visiting my Stampin’ Up website at http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/kpkre8tions/  You will also see some other creative ideas there.

Thanks for stoppin' by,
Kimberly
