Creepy Lane

Creepy Lane was a fun card to make.  This whole card just screams creepy and scary.  I love the wrought iron window with the black cat, pumpkin and quarter moon.  To give this a more realistic look I heat embossed the iron with black embossing powder. I colored the scence using my Prisma Watercolor Pencils then blended with my Stampin' Up Blending Pen.  I also did the sentiment of Creepy lane with black embossing powder.

I would like to have a mat finished black embossing powder.  I think this would have an even more realistic wrought iron look to it.  While I like the shiny, I think it would look better if it were flat and not shiny.

I added the creepy looking eyes because every scary scene in a movie always has the feeling of hidden eyes watching over things.

I completed the inside of the card by adding a white insert with the same border as the front of the card.
