Yes, how many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea ?
Yes, how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free ?
Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
Today's craft challenge for Her Craft Krea8tions was to make something that "blows in the wind". Each design team member received beads, chimes, nightmare fishing line, a jingle bell, and a twirly thingie dooie (that's a technical term!). Everyone was encouraged to add things from their stash to make it their own and to go "green" without buying anything additional!!!!
With this all being said, everyone and the fishing line were not on "speaking terms". Lynne Kirsh had knots galore and would give up and pitch it and her one cat would return it expecting her either to throw again or finish ... your guess is as good as her's! Several never ever want to see fishing line again!!!!! Thus, the grand prize will be 100 yards of fishing line .... ha ha, just kidding!!!! It will be a surprise package to one lucky recipient that remarks on everyone's stop along the way!
Here is my wind chime:
I used an old embroidery hoop and some tack nails to create the dream catcher portion of the wind chimes. I then used the supplied chimes, beads, rings and dreaded fishing line. I am thankful I had a good teacher when it came to tying fishing lures and weights. I think my knots will all hold.
The line-up is as follows:
