Here is my card for the blog hop July 31.  This card I used plain white card stock and Daisy's Fancy Matron paper.   Just click on the link to take you right to the store to get your own paper.  I love this paper for a variety of reasons.  One, there are multiple uses for the paper and I also love the colors.  Not only can you focus on the beautiful lady on the paper, you can also use the words on the paper for a completely different look.

To create this card, I actually printed out two sheets of the Fancy Matron paper, I used one sheet for the back ground and the other sheet I used for the three strips on the right side of the card.  Once I cut the three strips, I secured them to a sheet of plain white strips, cut close to the edge, then inked the edges with a Prussian Blue ColorBox inker.  I used pop-dots to lift the three strips up off the paper for a little bit of dimension.  I complimented the look by inking the edges of a white paper flower and securing it to the card using a pearl button.  Add the finishing touches of a an inked sentiment and I have a nice thank you  card for someone.
