Boys and Their Toys Blog Hop

No matter what the age, boys have always had their toys. The older the boys get the more expensive the toys to say the least!!!!

My brothers when they were younger always had their trucks, Matchboxes, Hot Wheels not to mention the construction sets. Now, that they are older, my one brother has his trains and his antique car that he is his pride and joy!!!!!

We are about to discover what toys are boys have and had with this hop and hope you sit back and enjoy our stories.

We have a very talented group of ladies to share with you not only their projects but stories and the entire line-up is listed below!!!

Today I have a quick and easy card to share with you.  However, I first must say I am so sorry the card is not complete. I started the card last night, with plans to finish it today, however, today I have not felt well, so this card is NOT complete.  I am so sorry.

I chose this images because I fondly remember my son (and my brothers too) playing with their Tonka Trucks.   I envisioned lots of road signs with this big truck, and one of the signs saying Happy Birthday.

The image came of of Boys Will Be Boys Cartridge. There are a few others on that cart that I would like to add and do a great layout for my sons early pictures.

We have a great sponsor for this hop.  Nikki, from Paper Piecings by Nikki has graciously donated one file for this hop.  The file Nikki is giving is titled, Boys and their Toys and can be found here.

To be eligible for the prize, you must comment on every blog along the way, and become a fan on her fan page.

Hope, you enjoyed our project while we send you on your way but please avoid the traffic to your next stop Maria.

  1. Even though your card isn't done, the truck is adorable. You picked the perfect colors for it.

  2. I forgot to add that I hope you're feeling better now.

  3. what a cute truck cut!! I'd call this card Clean & very favorite style of cardmaking!!
sorry to hear you weren't feeling well Kimberly, I hope you're better now!

  4. I can envision the card and how it will look, I like it. I thought I had signed up for this hop, so I made a shaped card with similar colors that is a bucket loader.... I also didn't get it finished. Seems to be a theme ;)

  5. Your card is absolutely adorable as I remember my brothers digging outside and putting the dirt back in the hole that dad had just dug ... sew, sorry, you weren't feeling well to finish your card but I sew envision your vision!!!! It is always and truly a pleasure hopping with you my dear friend!!!
