Good Morning and Happy Wednesday,
For today’s Scrappy EMT Design Team posting, I wanted to share with you a card that I made for our granddaughter who will be turning four this month. This sweet little digi-stamp bear sitting in a flower was colored using my Adobe Photoshop application. I chose bright cheerful colors for the bee, to match the bright cheerful polka-dot/striped double sided Stampin’ Up paper. I used a complimentary color card stock to pop the white paper off the page. I completed the front of the card by adding a sentiment (printed from my computer) and cut with my Spellbinders die. I needed to add some color, so I inked the edges. I used Pop-dots to lift the sentiment off the paper.
I just love this little digi-bear, so I used the same stamp to create book marks to match. To ensure the book marks arrive safely, I added a pocket card on the inside of the card. I then trimmed the bookmarks to fit. I used one of my Stampin’ Up scalloped circle punches to cut a half circle for the little bear to peek out. I also laminated the bookmarks so they would last longer.
I completed the card with white card stock, with the edges inked layered over the top of the pink card stock.
The Digi-Stamp “Bee Bear In Flower” is from Paper Piecings by Nikki, you can just click on her name to go to her web site.
Thanks for stopping by today!
