June Calendar Girls Blog Hop

Welcome to our June Calendar Girls' Blog Hop. Papercrafts Presents 365 Cards magazine which is our inspiration for these monthly hops which thus became the Calendar Girls. The magazine has Creative Ideas for every day of the year: occasions, holidays, and celebrations including 42 unique holidays!!! These unique holidays are our inspiration. Below are my two cards for calendar girls. The first is for Flag Day.

For this card, I used a beautiful sheet of freedom paper and trimmed it down to size. Then I simply added some matching ribbon and a cut from the Stand and Salute Cartridge. I completed the look with two shiny red stars.

This second card is for the first day of summer. This card was made using the Sesame Street Seasons. Isn't Elmo just the cutest little guy getting ready to go for his summer swim? I completed the card with a bright red with white polka dot ribbon.
