Welcome to Scrapping with Lisa's
Designs
Today our design team will be
featuring the newest cats file. A bunch
on ornery cats all looking to get into some kind of mischief. But, then what
cats don’t, right?
The team was asked to use the cats
to create a card, that was more than just the traditional half fold card. I think you wlll like what the team has come
up with this week.
The file we used can be found here,

week.
This is one of those projects that didn't turn out like it was planned in my head. This week when I was making the kitty's mousie (as I call her) turned out to look more like a cat with a mouses face then a cats face. She is kinda cute thou, don't ya think? So then i had to rethink what I wanted to do with my little mousie cat. The idea came to me to use it for Halloween, but i thought it might be a bit early to create a Halloween card. Then I remembered one of my favorite cartoons growing up, Tom and Jerry.
This is Mousie |
Here is where things started to go wrong for me . . .
I wanted a hole for my kitty to peek through, I think his eyes just have the "come and get me" tease to them. so I grabbed my larger hole punch, and after many choice words, finally got it lined up just where I thought I needed it to go. I cute the hole and discovered, my hole punch was a wee bit to big. As such, more of the cat shows than I had intended.
The cat atop the hole is the watch cat, who has the look of "darn it, he got away again. I am so going to be in the dog house".
I added some butterflies and a blue bow to take away from the stark white walls and the sentiment on the inside says, "Wishing you love and laughter".
Not exactly what I had hoped for, but it works!
Here is the line up for this week .
