Altered Frame

Sometimes the fast and easy projects turn out the best.  I have seen a lot of people doing altered art, and well, to be honest, I am a plain and simple girl and I have always been afraid to try anything altered, so I start off slow and simple.

And really, it does not get much simpler than this little frame with some added roses. A good start I would say  . . .

I used plain ivory roses and tipped them with blue and turquoise colors.  Simple enough right.  (well ... I was chicken of ruining the flowers so I had a friend tip them for me)  Then I simply found an arrangement that I liked and hot glued them onto the purchased frame.

This would make a great frame for an adorable little girl, don't you think?  Now that I have finished one, I have a multitude of ideas for a second, third and fourth one.  Thankfully, you can get the frames very reasonable at Michael's.
