Cuddly Cute Design ~ Cupid Cuties ~ Twisted Popup Card

Today I share with you Twisted Popup Card I made using the Cupid Cuties from Cuddly Cute Designs.  I used my Cameo to do a print and cut with the images, and add the arrow words at the top of each image.  I also got the sentiment for the inside from the Silhouette Store.  The Tutorial for this card can be found at Splitcoast Stampers.

Hello everyone, 

I know, I know, it has been forever since I have posted to my blog.  I look for that to change starting today.  You should begin to see more postings from me with things I am working on.  As always, these things I am working on might be good, bad, or anywhere in between.  I am one who believes in constructive criticism and I am always open to new ideas and suggestions.   Any yes, I know my blog is out of date, I am working on that as well.   So, with that said, I would like to start by introducing a brand new digi company. 

The Scrapoholic Candy Shop is working with Cuddly Cute Designs  to bring you a brand new digital designs to create beautiful cards, scrapbook pages, and even mixed media projects.  


I created this fabulous card using the Bear With Roses digital pattern.  You will find the digital stamp when you go to the store, then click on All Digi Stamps. 

I am a person who likes to use many mediums to color, and lately, I have been on a kick of using Photoshop.  I love the look and sometimes, it is much easier for me.   Once I got the cute little bear all colored, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the scalloped oval and the scalloped oval shadow.    The oval is layered over a Free Standing Lace Victorian Heart which you can find in my store here.   I finished off the design by adding three small roses.  The background paper is just paper from my stash.    I hope you like it.  Stay tuned for more great designs from The Scrapoholic Candy shop.

For my Easter Hop project I have made these adorable Easter Baskets.  These were really simple to make, but a little time consuming at the same time.  I love to use the print and cut on my cameo and when I combine this feature with the adorable files from Cuddly Cute Designs, it is a win/win for everyone. 

The biggest issue I have with doing print and cut on vinyl is making sure you take advantage of the entire sheet of vinyl so you do not waste anything.  After all, once you put the registration marks on the vinyl (so you can cut it) you have pretty much used the vinyl for print and cut.   Let's just say, I made this mistake the first time I printed vinyl.  

You will notice that there are two different files used her.  The adorable bunny with the carrot, Tami was kind enough to make for me.  I needed a design for a young boy, and the sweet bunny with the flower just would not do. 

I am thinking of adding a few puppets from the bunny file or other files and put them on craft sticks to add to the baskets. This is a fast, fun, and easy project to do as long as you pay attention to the details.
