Hello Everyone, I'm here to share a fun card I made using the "Pieces Of My Heart" collection from The Scrapoholic Candy Shop. I know it is past Valentine's Day, but this set would work for Birthday's, Anniversary's or even just a card to say, I Love You
I colored up this cute digi using Photoshop, which I use a lot when I color. I then decided to play just a little bit. Well, it was supposed to be just a little bit, it turned out to be more than that, but I learned a few things along the way. That is important too, right?
I could not find the paper I wanted to use for this cute digi, so I decided to make my own in my Silhouette application. Okay, so in all fairness, there is a slight learning curve, but i spent more time looking for the right background pattern than I did anything. There were just to many choices!!!!
When I finally found what I thought I was looking for, I layered it over the top of a pale pink. I did not want the background to over power the fun hearts on the paper.
I layered the digi and the sentiment on black card stock and carefully placed them on the paper. It is plain and simple, but that works for me most of the time.

I know, I know, it has been forever since I have posted to my blog. I look for that to change starting today. You should begin to see more postings from me with things I am working on. As always, these things I am working on might be good, bad, or anywhere in between. I am one who believes in constructive criticism and I am always open to new ideas and suggestions. Any yes, I know my blog is out of date, I am working on that as well. So, with that said, I would like to start by introducing a brand new digi company.
The Scrapoholic Candy Shop is working with Cuddly Cute Designs to bring you a brand new digital designs to create beautiful cards, scrapbook pages, and even mixed media projects.
I created this fabulous card using the Bear With Roses digital pattern. You will find the digital stamp when you go to the store, then click on All Digi Stamps.
I am a person who likes to use many mediums to color, and lately, I have been on a kick of using Photoshop. I love the look and sometimes, it is much easier for me. Once I got the cute little bear all colored, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the scalloped oval and the scalloped oval shadow. The oval is layered over a Free Standing Lace Victorian Heart which you can find in my store here. I finished off the design by adding three small roses. The background paper is just paper from my stash. I hope you like it. Stay tuned for more great designs from The Scrapoholic Candy shop.
