This scrapbook page goes along with the wedding card I posted last week. The pictures are from our nieces wedding held in North Carolina. It was a very country wedding, (the bride was bare foot) and it looked very fun and relaxed. Because we were unable to attend ourselves I had to use pictures that were provided to me by the bride’s parents.
This is a very simplistic design comparatively (with what I have seen on blogs) but I like how it turned out. The simple Quilling (I am just learning) added a little something to the pictures. The burlap ribbon on the ends came from bows that the bride made. She sent me a couple so I could use them, (she just did not know why I wanted them). All of the colors used are colors from the wedding. I tried to match them the best I could with what papers I already had.
Here is the scrapbook page, followed by a close up of the quilling.
