Here are the two cards that I created for this months Calendar Girls blog hop.

The first of my two  cards is for Grandparent's Day.  I really like this style of card, and even though it looks like it might take some time to do, I find them very fast and very easy to make.  I think they are very elegant looking.

For my second card is for Elephant Appreciation Day.  Who even knew there was such a thing as Elephant Appreciation Day?  Well, either did I, but as soon as I saw this day on the calendar, I knew I had to do because I had the perfect paper piecing pattern to honor this intriguing day.  Here is my card.

The pattern for this card came from Paper Piecing by Nikki and can be found at this link.  I included the circus themed paper on the inside because no one appreciates and elephant more than the people in the circus.

Stop by and check out these holidays as I am sure you are going to want to remember these holidays and include them in your card making projects!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and mark your calendar again next month to see what Holidays to Celebrate on October 13, 2012 for the next Calendar Girls Blog Hop!
