My Whimsical Little World New Releases

Today is new release Monday at My Whimsical Little World. I have three fun cards to share with you today. All three of my digital images were colored with my Photoshop program. Papers used are from my stash, and I have no idea what stack they are from, or what the names of them are. the fun Turkey card is a Silhouette Shape card designed by Lori Whitlock.

My Whimsical Little World ~ September 8 New Releases

September 8, 2014 New Releases

My how time flies when you are having fun. It is so hard to believe that Halloween is just around the corner. Soon it will be time to think about Christmas cards and start working on those.

Today, I have three fun Halloween cards to share with you. Home Before Midnight, Robbie the Robot, and Halloween Fence. When I started these cards, I thought I had much different Halloween papers and embellishments. I soon found out, what I thought I had, I didn't. I hate it when that happens, especially when it is to late to make a run to Michael's.

They are fun cards none the less and I think turned out pretty cute.

Welcome Back to School!

August 25, 2014 New Releases

I don't have any kids in school anymore, just grandkids, but I still cannot believe how quickly the summer has past and it is already back to school time (in most places).

Today I have three different images to showcase for you from My Whimsical Little World. They are fun and fun to design with as well.

The first I have is a simple layout, using Cole to create a quick layout. I am a simple girl, so my layouts are going to be simple. I will have to be honest though, This layout started from a make-n-take at a crop over the weekend. We made the banner and the pencil. I added to it from there.

Next, I have two cards for you, first I have the alarm clock then I have the mug of school supplies.

My Whimsical Little World Birthday Celebrations

Here I am back again today with some more great digital images from My Whimsical Little World.

Astrid, Belle Christopher, and Belle all combined together to make a nice layout for a birthday celebration.

I am not the greatest at doing layouts, but I a working on it. I have not really gotten the hang of how to properly embellish a page. then I ask myself, "is there really a right way or a wrong way when you scrapbook"? Make it look good for your tastes and move forward.

I have however decided that I need to bling these two pages up a little bit more. I am thinking maybe some gems on the picture corners? I also think the digital images should be a little larger for a layout. I am generally a card maker, so I cut them to size for cards.

It takes time and practice to get it right, at any rate, I hope you like it.

Great Achievements ~ My Whimsical Little World Design Team

Here are more awesome digital works from My Whimsical Little World Design.

First is Eloise, a cute little lady. Then next is Max, a handsome looking young man. Both cards are great for encouraging students to the next level. Both of these images were colored using my Photoshop Program. While i have always used Photoshop to color my images, this time I played with some of the filters to change up the effects. One Eloise, I used one of the charcoal pencil effects, and with Max I used the gradient effect.
