Spooky Halloween Card

Hello and welcome back to my blog.  I appreciate your support and always enjoy reading your comments,

Today I have a great card to show you.  This card is made using the Witches Brew Printable Journal by Tsunami Rose Designs.  Daisy really creates some of the best printable papers around.  I can guarantee you will love the papers as much as I do.

I used the skeleton page as my back ground page.  After I trimmed my paper to a specific size, I inked the edges using Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I then mounted that to black card stock for add support.

I used the Tim Holtz Vintage Doily cut out of cream paper, and again I used the Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add some color to the doily.

I used one of the skeleton tags and trimmed it to size, (just a wee bit smaller than the doily) I inked the edges of the tag to match the background paper.  Again, I mounted the tag on black card stock for stability.

I completed my greeting card by adding a inked sentiment, mounted on black card stock and two gray roses that have been tipped with some black ink. I was worried about adding the roses. I worried they would distract from the paper or the sentiment.

I am not big into creepy or spooky Halloween Cards, but I do like how this one turned out.  It is a little creepy, but not to bad.  At least it does not have spiders on it.
