I am back again today with another posting for Craftin Desert Diva's link it up party.  I hope you have been checking out all of the awesome postings that are linking up.  WOW right!!! 

Today, I want to share with you more of my mini that I am making.  Yes, this is a slow process, if you follow my blog, you know this is my first mini and I am taking my time and trying to do it right.  I hope it turns out as nice as I envision it in my head.  

This page, matches page two with the use of the Stars and Stripes paper. I have two small areas for pictures included on this page.  I chose not to add any extra embellishments to this page simply because I thought it was already busy enough with the patterned paper,and the starts and strips on the side.  I hope it is not to boring for people, but sometimes I think it is more important to highlight the pics and use less embellishments.

Here is what I created for this linky party....

For those of you who follow my blog, you saw yesterday with this posting, that I am in the beginning stages of creating a Red White and Blue summer fun mini.  

Today, I am adding another page to my mini. I like this  page as much as I like the first two I posted yesterday.  I hope you will as well.  

I love this all stars paper, and found it a perfect match with my mini so far.  I added a popped up sticker for the celebration of Independence Day.  and then added some bling on the bottom corner. 

With the addition of the bling, I thought it might take away to much for adding pictures of the fun day, so I again created a pullout for additional pictures.  Sticking with the themed paper I have a bi-fold pullout allowing for four extra places to add pictures or to journal the days events. For a little bit of a change, I added two strips of patterned paper on the insider of the pullout.

Crafting Desert Diva ~ Guest Designer

Here is what I created for this linky party....

For my guest design spot I chose to make a beautiful wooden frame.  I am starting to move more and more out of my comfort zone and work on other things.  I am more comfortable these days with other projects.  

This project was pretty easy to do and I feel the results are quite beautiful. I used a wooden frame and painted it with Craft Smart "Robins Egg Blue".  I had to apply several coats.  (I am not sure I am really sold on this brand of paint).  Once the paint dried I added the three flowers.  Two in the top right hand corner and one in the bottom left.  I liked the the look but I thought it needed something more, so I decided I was going to add some string pearls around the outside of the frame opening. They ended up a wee bit crooked, but I still like the look of it.   I finished off the looks of the frame with a stamped sentiment.  I used my black Staz On ink for this process to ensure the sentiment would not run on the painted surface.
