Odd Ball Stamps

This week for my Crafty Gals Corner Design Team posting, I am working with the digi Tulip Umbrella by Miss Daisy Stamps.   Spring is just around the corner, so this was a great digi to use.  And, I received a bonus sentiment! 

The challenge this week was to use your favorite tings. Everyone knows that I love to work with lace and flowers. So, this is what I worked with for this card. The card base is from the Silhouette Design Store (ID: 44890).  I matched the yellow in the tulips with a pale yellow paper, then used a yellow and white stripped paper for the front and for the insert on the inside. I also used a blue to match the umbrella as a highlight for the front of the card.    I finished off my card with my favorite things, a pretty piece of lace, a small white rose and two tiny pink roses.  

It is plain and simple, but I really like it.  It will be a great pick me up card for someone feeling down.

Happy Easter

Hello again, I am back to share another great card made with a fun digi.  This week for  613 Avenue Create Design Team, we used the anything goes challenge to create with the digi stamps from Rick St. Dennis.  This digital image is called Precious Pinx.  

Now, with the name of the wonderful image, how could I not finish her off in beautiful soft pastel pinks.  I wish I could remember the name of the paper I used for the back ground, but, at last, I can't.  Anyways, it is double sided, so, I thought that would be perfect to make a beautiful flower to add to the card. Thus making it look quite springy.  I finished off the card by adding a fun and very suitable sentiment from Create with TLC.

Easter Bunny Bonnet

Hello again, 

I am a new member of the Get Creative Challenges Purple Design Team.  My first task as a purple team member is the great digital image from Rick St. Dennis called Easter Bonnet Bunny.  the challenge this week was to use the color green in your project.  

Here is what I chose to do. 

This is a great image and I found it enjoyable to color and create a nice card with.  The image is colored with prisma colored pencils, and while you cannot see it very good, her jewels, the lines in her dress, the hem,  and even her hand bag all have some sparkle added.  I use my Sparkle Gel pen to add some glitter and make it look like she had bling all over and around her dress.  I even  added some bling sparkle to her hat and flowers. 

The paper I used is from my stash, and I thought it went perfect with this image.  I carefully rounded the top left only of the digital image and added a green bow for accent.  I found the perfect gold button with a jade heart in the middle to finish the card of perfectly.
