New Release Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Morning and thanks for stopping by my blog to see my newest creations for The Stamping Chef's  New Release Tuesday. The new releases can be found at the Stamping Chef Store.  Lucy Lou and Rockin' Retro are the two releases today.   

Here is what I did with the two digi's.  As always I created my cards by coloring them with Crayola Colored Pencils and blending with Gamsol. 

Lucy Lou 

Designer Papers are scraps from a friend. Ribbon for my stash, and the flowers are from Prima. 

I toyed with the idea of adding more color to her top, but I was afraid I would mess her up so I just left it be.  I am still learning all about the right  colors to use for skin tone, and still feel as if my people are to pale. 

Rockin' Retro

Designer paper from scraps, the cut is from a Spell Binders Die called Small Deckled Mega Rectangles, ribbon is from my stash and the "Groovy Baby" sentiment I printed from my computer.

Stamping Chef ~ Val N'Tine

Good Morning,

Today I have for you a posting from The Stamping Chef.  I have used Val N'Tine to create a nice birthday card that would work great for a masculine card.

This card reminds me very much of a young Marilyn Monroe singing while sitting upon her piano.  You can find this Val N'Tine digi by going to the Stamping Chef Store here, or clicking on her name.

I colored my digi using Crayola Colored Pencils and blended with Gamsol.  Yes, I know she is not perfect, but I still think she turned out pretty good.  I added a chocolate brown grosgrain ribbon, and three various colors of brown buttons. I completed the card with a happy birthday sentiment.  Thou, after I took the pic, I realized I used the wrong red piece so I am going to carefully disassemble and fix the sentiment.
